NOTE:  Club meetings are generally held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Milford Community Centre, Sea Road SO41 0PH;

doors open at 7pm for 7.30 start. 

January 16th  Saving the Bumblebee and how the gardener can help – Gill Perkins, Bumblebee Conservation Trust.  NB. This meeting will be at All Saints Church Hall, Greenbanks Close, Milford.

February 20th  AGM# followed by Restoration of the Kingston Lacey Kitchen Garden – Andrew Hunt, Kingston Lacey Garden Project Manager

March 20th  Gardening in the shade – Steve Austin. A welcome return visit from this plantsman and nurseryman.

April 17th  Drought plants – Janette Merillion, horticultural speaker and garden designer

May 15th  All there is to know about orchids at home and orchid production at the nursery – Malcolm Gregory, Double H Nursery, New Milton

June 19th  The history of the cottage garden – Neil Lovesey, nursery owner, Picket Lane Nursery, Dorset

July 17th  Out evening – ‘Ivy Bank’, Vinegar Hill, Milford on Sea.  A glass of wine and a wander around this beautiful garden.  NB. 6.30pm start; only members and their guests for this evening.

August  No meeting

September  18th  Container bulbs for a year of flowers – Tim Woodland

October 16th  Exploring the South Island of New Zealand – Rosemary Legrand.  A return visit from this well-travelled speaker who always has great pictures.

November 20th  All aspects of rose care – Stewart Pocock, Pococks Roses of Romsey. Rose products for sale.

December 18th  Christmas Social Evening (NB change to original published date)
