Milford Gardeners Club began life over 20 years ago in 1997.
We exist for the gardeners of Milford on Sea – helping to provide a succession of interesting speakers and demonstrations for our members. We also try to function as a social and meeting place for like- minded gardeners and everyone is welcome to visit. If we don’t make your visit enjoyable please let us know!
Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7.30 p.m. (doors open 7pm) at Milford Community Centre, Sea Road.
We are non-profit making and any events that raise money will be to support local charities. In the past we have raised over £35,000 and some of the recipients have been Oakhaven, First Opportunities, Countryside Education Trust, Rose Road, Mayfield Nurseries, Honeypot, Roundabout, Furzey Gardens, Practical Action, Spana, British Kidney Assoc and the Barry Phillips Youth Trust. We are eternally grateful for the help and support given by the members to making this Club such a success.
Our charities for 2018 were Milford Conservation Volunteers and Oakhaven. 2019 charities will be chosen shortly.
New Committee members are always welcome. If you are interested, please contact the Chairperson, Sue Crabb on 01590 642510 or email: email@example.com
