Milford Gardeners Club began life in 1997 and 2017 sees our anniversary year (see history).
We exist for the gardeners of Milford on Sea – helping to provide a succession of interesting speakers and demonstrations for our members. We also try to function as a social and meeting place for like- minded gardeners and everyone is welcome to visit. If we don’t make your visit enjoyable please let us know!
Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7.00 p.m. in All Saints Church Hall, Milford. SO41 0SQ
We are non profit making and any events that raise money will be to support local charities. In the past we have raised over £35,000 and some of the recipients have been, Oakhaven, First Opportunities, Countryside Education Trust, Rose Road, Mayfield Nurseries, Honeypot, Roundabout, Furzey Gardens, Practical Action, Spana, British Kidney Assoc. We are eternally grateful for the help and support given by the members to making this Club such a success.
Our charities for 2017 were Honey Pot and the Barry Phillips Youth Trust
