Welcome to Milford Gardeners' Club
Milford Gardeners' Club began life over 25 years ago in 1997.
We exist for the gardeners of Milford on Sea, providing a succession of interesting speakers and demonstrations for our members. We also try to function as a social and meeting place for like-minded gardeners and everyone is welcome to visit. If we don’t make your visit enjoyable please let us know! Meetings are normally held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7.00 pm at The Bridge aka Milford Community Centre, Sea Road SO41 0PH. Click here to see our programme of talks and to find out how to join. We are non-profit making and any events that raise money support local charities. Over the years we have raised over £40,000 and some of the recipients have been Oakhaven Hospice, First Opportunities, Countryside Education Trust, Rose Road, Mayfield Nurseries, Honeypot Children's Charity, Roundabout, Furzey Gardens, Practical Action, Spana, British Kidney Association, Milford Conservation Volunteers, Barry Phillips Youth Trust, Milford Community Library, Bumblebee Conservation Trust, Forca - Strength against cancer, Lymington Hospital Friends Appeal and the Brain Tumour Charity. We are eternally grateful for the help and support given by the members to making this Club such a success. Our charities for 2024 are The Honeypot Childrens' Charity and New Forest Basics Bank. New Committee members are always welcome. If you are interested, please contact the Chairperson, Sue Crabb on 01590 642510 or email [email protected] |
